Experiments with air-drying clay

My first attempt with air-drying clay, with any clay actually. Terrible really, considering I’ve always loved the idea of working with it. Anyway, I’ve had this idea of basing a piece of work around my favourite directors. No sure-fire plan for how this is going to turn out but this is as good a place to start as any. So, Mr Dave Lynch, you are the first (perhaps even the last) and this is my attempt to (re) create you. The other picture shows what Frances created whilst I swore and swore again until finally I/we were in the zone (dinner was late!). Her piece is apparently: “The same as yours, but different”.
